ADAMS COUNT\ CHORUS MEETS MONDAY EVENING /The Adams County Chorus met Monday evening at the Fann Bu--reuh building in .Monroe. After the regular rehearsal period, a business session was conducted by Mrs? Noble .Reynolds. The group voted to. keep the drive-for new members, open until the first meeting in January. Plins were also made for Serving several banquets, the times and p.atcs to be announced later. ■ _ TRI KAPPA SORORITY HAS MASQUERADE PARTY '.Member* of Tri Kappa sororityi were entertained last evening, at sT mffsquerade party at the Elks home? Clever Halloween decorations were*.used in the entertaining J rooms. The prize for the : most original costume was given to Mrs. Simeon Haim Jr.,] the last t guest to be identified. Mrs. Rose Lengerich was named president, Mrs. Delota Engle vicepresident; Mrs. Lucy Schnepp. secretary; Mrs. Ruth McKean treasurer; Mrs. Margaret Lengerich and Mrs. Frieda Stepler, leaders; Mrs. Clara Miller and Mrs. Blanche Shoaf, alternate leaders. The meeting was opened by "Back Home Again in Indiana,” followed by the group repeating the club creed and collect. Roll call was answered by telling of Halloween pranks. FOUNDERS DAY OBSERVED BY DELTA THETA TAU Delta Ttheta Tau sorority members met at the home of the president, Miss Mary Martha Ter veer, for a Founders Day meeting last night. Al nine thirty o’clock a solemn service was conducted honoring the five founders "of the Delt sorority. Suoh a service is conducted at tr.e same hour by chapters- all over the United States in observance of Founders Day.
