of a high uchool education in the dog world. i ' \ Beyond that, college and work on the master's degree or emotions is conceived. That’s the extent of the dog's formal education, for by now the canines are more intelligent than their instructors, it is unofficially conceded. Brochures from the school, ’ explaining the curriculum are not Immediately available, but it is learned that the dogs are graduated with a normal affectation, plug a diploma. After all, there is a class line maintained, for the emphaslp today is on education as opposed to illiteracy. That the dogs will be Imbued with not only scholarship but the possibility of a few major phobias is offset by the fact “that a college education will enhance the chances of obtaining a better job.” \ The report trickling into us concerning the school did not list ' the names of the doge. However, ;'l the owners were named, including
Garrett Shufeldt, who has two great danes enrolled, one of them for the second time; Nate Gurtner’s German shepherd is there as is Jim MilUer’s \ English bulldog, Miss Eleanor Reppert’s Shetland sheep dog, Dr. H. R. Frey’s Gordon setter, and Mrs. Elizabeth Peck’s English bulldog, the latter for the second time. i • King George Plans To Carry Ori Business London, Sept. 2O.r— (UP)— Two dew statements $ Indicated today that King George VI intends to carry on business as usual. tural changes” in the King’s lung. No further explanation was offered, and it was not clear whether, bis condition was considered^ serious.
