CATHOLIC LADIES HAVE SOCIAL MEETING TUESDAY iThe Catholic Ladies of Columbia enjoyed a social meeting last evening at the C. L. of C. hall. A potluck supper was served at. six thirty o’clock. Cards .-were played following the supper prizes won by Mrs. Vdlma Durkin, for bridge, Mrs. Foos, five hundred; Miss Margaret Eiting, pinochle, and Virginia Ostbrman for rhurn. The dopr prize was. awarded to Matilda Gilmer. Rose Gase and Martha Kitson wdre co-chairmen for the affair. ADAMS COUNTY CHORUS MEETING AT MONROE v Members of the Adams county chorus held their regular rehearsal Monday everting at the Farm Uureau building in Monroe. It was Announced that the chorus is open for new members, with soprano voices particularly needed. Mrs. Noble Reynolds conducted the business session and requested members to bring their coffee coupons.
