Falls Off Ladder, 3 Moeschberger Boy f Recovering Today Olia Moeschberger, nine-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Art Moeschberger,- of Monroe, is a boy who today can rub his chin, and feel a patch there, rub his head and realize he’s got a couple of stitches, but he’ll never know what happened to several hours of his time. For he was unconscious. Probably the lad wori’t miss the hours he spent “out of this world’’ too much, for he normally, is sleeping part of the time anyway. But he regained consciousness shortly before midnight last night In the Adams county memorial hospital after "“passing out” in a Decgfut physicfan's office. ’ ' t Olin had fallen off a rung of a ladder inside the barn at his parents’ home in Monroe. He bumped chin on a .piece of wood, which his mother treated, and the matter was closed as far as the boy\ was concerned, for he said he was all right. .1. . ' The incident happened about 3 p. m. Indiana Farm Work Moving On Steadily Harvesting Os Oats < Nearly Completed Indianapolis, Aug. 15.—•-(UP) — Indiana farm work took a big step forward during the hot weather last week, the weather bureau reported today. The weekly crop report said showers interrupted farm work in only a tew counties. Harvesting of the oats crop, estimated by Purdue University and federal crop experts at 5?.692,(T00 bushels, was nearly qomple ed and some' grain was reported lost because fain kept the farmers out of the fields. The crop report said second cutting of alfalfa is completed except in the northeast district, mint harvest is three-fourtl s done and some tobacco cutting has started. v \. Circus Here Next Friday Firemen Sponsor Os Circus Appearance While no definite has been made, fire departmerit officials stated today that indications showed ticket sales for the Friday, circus as “very good,” but (there were plenty of seats available. Firemen emphasized there are no reserved seat tickets, that one ticket takes the bearer “all the way through,” for the side-slow as well as the main event.
