DELTA THETA TAU HAS INITIATION TUESDAY Impressive candlelight ceremonies held at the KJks home Tuesday evening completed th* initiation of Mrs. Robert 4’olter Miss Ann Gass,/ Miss Margare Mcßeth and Miss Isabelle Kintz into the Delta Theta Tau sorority. The services were conducted by Miss Rosemary Spangler at six o'clock and were followed with the initiation dinner. Bouquets of spring flowers were used on the mantel in the dining room andjptable decorations were, in green and white, the sorority colors. Arrangements of daisies in crystal vases and green tapers formed the centerpieces- ami tiny green and white lace baskets marked- the place of each guest. The initiates were presented with corsages and a plaque of the Delt crest as a gift from the sorority. . Dinner music was played bv Miss Rheta Butcher, who also , accompanied Dick Reidenbach, soloist. His selections included “It Is No Secret” <and “Too Young.” The-president. Miss Mary Martha

The affa|r is sponsored annually by the Presbyterian Women’s Association. The auditorium and social roonm in the church were beautifully decorated with baskets of roses Flies and daisies. Guests were shown to their seats by Dianne Linn, Barbara Beehler, Sue Harper and Nan McMillen Burkett, who later assisted with the serving. | Mrs. Carrie Haubold played the < organ prelude, followed with a word of welcome by Mis, Robers Macklin, president of tile tion. BIRTHDAY PARTY [ GIVEN FOR CALVIN WORTHMAN Mr. laud Mrs. Ernest J. Worthman of Magley, entertained Sunday in honor of their son. Calvin,' who observed his fourteenth birthday anniversary. The honpreJ guest received many gifts. At noon dinner was served to Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Staler and daughter Joann, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bicberlch and daughter Lolb, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Adam.
