Trucker Guilty Os Drunken Driving Charles Merrit, 49. Fort Wayne tiuck driver, Was fined $25 and costs in mayor’s court today after pleading guilty to a drunken driv ing charge. He .was arrested Thursday night by city police officers on U.S. road 27. 7 Merrit also was a six month suspended sentence and a recommendation that his driver’s license be revoked. Five Youths Unhurt As Auto Hits Ditch FiVe young men escaped injury at about 9:30 last evening when an automobile driven by Burdette Uust|er,, 17, Winchester street.
