MISS ELIZABETH MAcV IS MARRIED WEDNESDAY Mr. and Mrs. John W. Shirk of West Palm Beach, Fla., have an> non need the wedding of their \ daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth Mact. txj John Allen Nugent. The event occurred at Vera Beach, Florida Wednesday afternoon, April 11th, and was attended by the parents qJ the bride and groom and a number of their relatives and friends, Mr. and. Mrs. Nugent left- after the reception for a honeymoon on, the west coast of Florida. They will be at home after April 20 at their cottage on Federal highway, Vero Beach.Both the bride and groom are graduates St West Palm Beach high school?; Mrs. Nugent attended Stepson college and for the past two years has been employed In the business offices of the West Palm Beach school administration. Mr. Nugent served two years in tha army and graduated from Miami University last February jl. He is now associated with (he Vaughn & Wright automobile accessory stoi<s at. Vero Beach. Mrs. Nugent attended the Decatur schools before moving to Florida. J. 4 I — CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING ON SUNDAY Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Hunt, who reside on a 1 ndar the state line, east of. -Decatur, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sunday at theif home. The entertaining rooms 'were , decorated with bouquets of flowers} and gold bells and a three tier (cake centered the lace-covered table. The cake was topped with candles held by small ■ gold candleholders and a yellow rose oniwhich was stenciled the letter 5<T, The Hunts had the happy privilege of having with them to mark the' occasion Mjiss Maude Strawn and S, IE. Maggart, who had attended their wedding. More than two hundred guests were served refreshments during the afternoon / and evening by (he Hunt’s daghter. Mrs. Beulah Fuhrman. their daugh ters-in-law, Mrs. Martha Hunt. Mrs. Leona Hunt and Mrs. Reba Hunt, and l ' two granddaughters, Delores May Daniels and Kay Hunt. \ The Couple received many beatiful gifts and cards. The wedding cake was baked by their son-in-, law, Maurice Fuhrman.
