Kentucky And Aggies Favored To Win Tonight New York, March 24.— (UP)— Kentucky against Illinois in the i,<east and Kansas State against Oklahoma A & M in the-’west—-thatwas the lineup for tonight’s regional finals in the NCAA basketball tournament. >• ‘ ] • Thp Kansas State-Aggies game et Kansas City was rated a tossup. while Kentucky’s wily Wildcats Were favored over the Illini at New .York. The winners will, meet next Tuesday at Minneapolis for the national championship. Kansas State, winner of the big seven title, reached the western clast night by whipping Brigham Young, 64 to 54. while th®,, Aggies advanced by downing ( Washington, 61 to 57. * It was a ha rd-to-take defeat for the Cougars of Brigham Young. They won the National Invitatioh tournament at New York last week and were shooting for college basketball's “grand slam.” But they didn’t have the talent to cope with powerful K-State.
