Enter Guilty Pleas To Traffic Charges Four Motorists Are Fined In City Court Three men pleaded guilty to traffic charges in city, court today, another one was fined Saturand still another is scheduled toappear later today. \ Dwight Davis, who pleaded guilty to reckless driving. was arrested by city police Saturday. He was clocked at 68 miles ah hour on Monroe street. Mayor Doan, before assessing any fine, warned Davis that he and the city police had -rfeceiveo innumerable complaints concerning the subject’s driving, and that future apprehensions would mean an automatic revocation of his driver’s license. Robert Clark, also arrested Saturday, pleaded guilty to the charge of driving without an Operator’g permit. _ L Kenneth Secaur pleaded guilty to the charge of reckless driving;, he was apprehended after his car struck the parked car of Chester Howard at 513 Marshall street Sunday. All thrhe men were fined $5 and costs, totalling $16.75. Max Andrews, of route 1, was also fined a like amount in court Saturday when he pleaded Kuilty .to the charge of speeding, being arrested by city police for traversing Thirteenth street 50 miles an houf/Tn a 30 mile zone. y George Gey-er, of route 2, arrested by state trooper Walter Schindler for running the stop sign a mlfo north of Monroe at 17. S. 27, is tp appear in court later today. Theater Chain Head In Serious Condition Indio. Calif., March 12 - <Ul’iJohn Balaban, head of \a large theater chain, was in Vserious condition” at a hospital here whereauthorities said his condition was “good but not improved,” He was rushed here Saturday night for an emergency operation. Officials at the hospital refused to give any details of his illness. However, it was learned in Chicago from Harry Ralaban. his that Balaban had suffered a burst appendix.
