Mrs. Max Schafer gave an outline of the plans of the local Red Cross chapter in the civilian defense program. She also solicited the help of the nurses in several phases of the program. The retiring officers were the hostesses for the meeting. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Harold Hoffman, chairman, Mrs. Berwyn Sprunger and Mrs. Arthur Miller. The attendance prize was awarded to Mrs. Leonard Solldajf.
