Denying the charges, Mrs. Cronin said she used the money to buy Tallulah' “dope, sex ahd whiskey,” an assertion echoed by Mrs. Cronin’s attorney. Angered, the rictress said, “I know nobody will believe those lies aborit a Bahkhead of Alabama," and stated she would sue the attorney.
