MARJORIE MAYER BRIM OF JOHN AUGHENBAUGH Mia* Marjorie Blaine Mayer at Fort Wayne, formerly ot thia city, and John D; Aughenbaugh were married at two thirty o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Trinity Methodist chureh In Fort Wayne. The Rev. Charles C. Ford received the vows before an altar graced with palms and beauty vases ot gladioli and chrysanthemums. The bride is the daughter of Arthur Mayer ot this city and Mrs. John Heine ot Pleasant Lake, and the groom is the son of Mrs. Dora M. Aughenbaugh of the Lima Road and Daniel Aughenbaugh of For*. Wayne. Mrs. Paul King presented the organ musicale which included 'Because,'’ “At Dawning” and "Oh Promise Me.” The bride's gown ot Chantilly lace over satin had a mandarin collar and gored shirt which ended In a chapel train. Her veil of illusion was caught to a headpiece of Hlushm. She carried a colonial teoVjUst of white rosea and stepbanotla centered with an orchid. Mias Ruth Ho Raypole attended aa maid ot honor In a gown of chartreuse taffeta designed with t V-neckllne outlined with small hows The bows highlighted the full skirt. She wore a matching headpiece and carried a colonial bouquet of white gladioli. Mrs John C. Bradley. Mias Dorothy Mayer, sinter of the bride, and Patty Coleen Nichols were bridesmaids. Their American Beauty gowns wore styled like that of the maid ot honor and they carried colonial bouquets of white gladioli with yellow', and chartreuse pompons. Philip B. Aughenbaugh served his brother Ba beat man. Ushers were William Pickens and William and John Bradley. The bride's mother was attired in a dark brown dress with brown er wore a navy dress with matching accessaries. Each wore a corsage of yellow- roses. A reception waa held at tbs home of the groom's parents from seven until ten o'clock Saturday evening, fluents were served by Mrs. Jack 8. C. Brueggeman and the Misses Virginia dtoner. Virginia Price aad Nancy Beebe. For their wedding trip the bridwore a copper-colored suit with green accesaoriea aad aa orchid corsage. The couple will reside at 1401 East Wayne street.
