The newly-elected president. j Mrs. Eugene Beam, was presented with' a corsage of yellow roses, thfc torority flower. A delicious picnic supper was i-erved at six thirty o'clock. Guests were seated at card tables, decorated with seasonal flowers, arranged on the lawn. Member* of the Bluffton Women of the Moose, chapter 324. were guest*. Melvina Reed, who received the college of regent degree at the national conference of Women of I the Moose held last week In Chicago, gave an interesting talk on the conference and described the new House of God and the dedication ceremonies conducted at Moo—heart last Sunday. A social hour was enjoyed after the meeting and lunch was served by the Mooseheart alumni committee. The door priie was awarded to Doris Tieman. JUNIOR AUXILIARY win Awards, trophy The Juniors of the American Legion Auxiliary won first prite on handwork entered In the contest held in connection with the department convention at French Lick thia week. The handwork consisted of articles made of paper *uch a* nut cups and pla<e card*. They entered item* in two classes, one group of girl* < to 12 year* old. and the ether of girl* from 12 to 11. Both group* were awarded first prise. The local group also won the Amy Lee Coulter cup, a trophy presented to the group which had participated in the best all around program in junior activities for the past year.
