Berne Native Dies At California Home Berne. Aug. 19-Rites were held at lent Angeles Friday for Paul Gerber, 78, a native and former resident of this community. He had lived In the West for 35 years and was employed by the Southern PiclHc railroad. A son. A "is'ter and a brother survive. Burial was at Los Angeles.
