Four Minor Wrecks Are Reported Here No One Injured In Series Os Wrecks A Gurry of four minor accidents over the weekend was Investigated or reported, three of them by city 'poßee. the other from the sheriff’s office. In none of thy accidents was anyone injured, or was there serious damage They closest, perhaps, to averting serious injury and damage was when » cxr driven, by Gene Burns, of 921 South Eighth street, hit a defect In U S. 27. eight miles north of Decatur, the driver lost control on the wet pavement, and rolled over atop a fence owned by Charles Schraedyr. The accident was reported to deputy sheriff Boh Shraiuka. and the damage was estimated at 3225 to the. car. Another accident Was reported, this one to city police, phen a car driven by Omar Peterson, 515 Perry street, knocked down a light post near Fifth and Monroe streets Peterson reported that the lights of an oncoming car blinded \bim No damage was reported. -~A Police then Investigated two, other accidents, one of them when a car driven by Ernest Pickering, of Monroe, hit the rear end of the car driven by Donald Rumachlag. 910 Russel street. Rumschlag bad slowed down bls car on Thirteenth for an approaching car that was making a left hand turn when the Pickering car bit. Damage was estimated at 885 to both cars.
