RECEPTION HELD FOR OR. ANO MR*- JONES A large crowd attended the reception at the Flrat Methodist < hurch Wednesday evening given in honor of Dr. and Mr*. Gerald J ones. Daring the program a quartet composed of Mirs Janet Hetrick. Miss Anita Smith. Bill Smith and Teddy Schrock presented two musical selections, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Lowell Smith. Mm. Virgil Krick welcomed Dr. Jones to his third year as pastor nt the church. After a short tala by Dr. Jones. Mrs. Calvin Steury, vice president of the Womens Society of Christian Service and chairman of the program committee, welcomed Mrs. Jones to the croup Refreshments were served by the Women's Society at the close of the evening. PSI IOTA XT HAS ' PLEDGE SERVICES A clever Hawaiian theme was employed in the entertaining room* at the Elka home last evening when Pai lota XI sorority conducted Pledge services for Mias Jan ■ Brumley Mias Phyllis Kohler. Mrs. Jack Heller, Mrs Glen Wolfrcn. Mrs. Tom Lntea. Mrs. Gene Uydell and Mrs. Jack Knudsen.
