Bouquet* of spring flower* were arranged at the Improvised altar • in the spacious living room. 1 program of bridal mesic preceded the speaking of the vows The bride, who wa* given in marriage by her father, wa* attractive in a street length dress of navy chiffon, with which she wore matching accessories. Her shoulder corsage wa* of yellow cymbldium orchid*. Mie* Elisabeth Ploiirhe, the bride's only attendant, waa at* tired in a navy and white print dree* and navy acceasories. Red Camillia formed her corsage. Robert Worthman of this city attended the groom. Mr*. Carter wore a dark blue gown and acceasories. and Mra ' Macklin wore a blue and old rose print dress. Both mother* wore corsages of Amaaonica Hilles Following ' the ceremony a reception waa held, with Mr*. Richard Sargeant and Mr*. Ralph Hinshaw assisting with the serving. The serving table wsa laid with i* lace cloth and centered with a three tiered wedding cake flank rd by lighted taper* After the reception the cottpte left for a wedding trip to New ,Orleans Izmirians Fyr traveling , the -new chosea beige suit with "brown accessories. Mrs. Ms* kiln Is a graduate *o[ Ball State Teachers college, where she waa * member of Alpha soror ity. She also attended Indiana university. She la a- member of Delta Theta Tau sorority In Elwood. and for the pasUTwrr-years has taught In the. Elwood public school. Mr Macklin wa* graduated from the Indian* university jchoof of law where he wk* affiliated with - Kappa Sigma fraternity, and the l‘hl Delta Phi legal fraternity. » Elwood Girl as Bride; Baptist Church Sunday Before a pretty floral setting In the First Baptist church Mias Mary Lou Robinson, of Decatur, daughter of Mr. aad Mrs. H. 8. Robinson of Piqua, Ohio, became the bride of Wallace Underwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry D. Underwood, ot Camby, at two o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Robert Ham mood performed the double ring ceremony. Before the ceremony Mrs. C. E. Bell played “Because" and "t Love You Truly.” At the beginning of the nuptial service ahe played "Oh Promise Me.” and during the reading of the vows and the pray»r rhe pteyed "Savior Like a Shep herd Ix-ad Us.” The traditional wedding marches were Used. The bride was lovely in a pink faille street length suit with navy Lccessorie*. She wore a siring ct pearls, a gift of the groom, and and carried a small white Bible covered with orchids. She was given in marriage by her father. Miss Joan Cowan attended the bride in a brown faille suit and matching accessories. Rhe carriel a bouquet of yellow roses. - Donald Burkhardt of Camby served the groom as best man Both mothers wore navy epsemhies with red rose corsages. A reception for forty guests was held at the home of Mr. and Mr*. Roy Johnson following the wedding The bride is a niece of the Johnsons and has made her home there In the past.
