Mat-thew-Worthman al the psraonage of the Bluffton Evangelical and Reformed church. Mra. Weller and Mr. Brelner both are originally from Kirkland township In Adame county. Mr. Brelner waa a Washington township farmer for many years and served two terms as Adame county commissioner. Following the ceremony tonight Mr’, and Mrs. Brelner a 111 spend several days visiting friends In Fort Wayne. BIXLER HOBTEM TO MISSIONARY GROUP The Ladies fellowship of the Missionary church held their monthly meeting Thursday at the home of Mrs. Virgil Bixler. Eighteen members and six guests were present. The guest list included: Mrs. Minnie Myers, Mrs. Ken n&h Wittwer. Mrs LaVera Wittwet, ,Mrs. Clarence Hook, Mrs. Paul Harden and Mrs. Sam Augsburger. During the meeting the entire group sang “He Keeps Me Singing" and "Tie So Sweet To Trust In Jesus." Mrs Harold Idlewine led pie prayer and the group read the scripture which was "The Blood Os Life." During the evening the ladlea spent an hour forming quilt Mocks, knotting comforts and emj brolderlrig towels. Refreshments were served by Mrs Bixler ssjsisled by Mrs Mervln Roop. Deputy Shraluka arrested Fred Bailer, of this city, on an affidavit signed by Hubert Schnepp charging Baller with passing a fraudulent check and subsequently obtaining money from it. No date ha* been set fur Bailer's arraignment in court. City police investigated the accident when a car driven by Emma Goldner. 1323 West Monroe street, in making a left turn-off Court street onto Second street, struck a car driven by Dale Cook, of route 5. J. R. Brogard. of tbe International Harvester Co. Fort Ways*, aad John Jessup, of Fairmount high school, will give talks at the meetiag'oa farm safety Jew sap, it is noted, is the winner of the district £ FF.A. public speaking contest- in addition to the speak era, a movie on the farm safety subject will be shown.
