Feb. 21. —(UP)— c>hlo gtste’s fast-traveling Buckeye* held at least a tie for the Bi* Ten basketball championship today and It was up to Wisconsin and Michigan to combine to give the Badgers even a share of the erown. Only Michigan remains on the Buckeye schedule for the conference campaign, and Wisconsin needs a Michigan win in order to come up with a title deadlock. Even with that break the Badgers must win three consecutive games, from Illinois and Minnesota on the road, and Northwestern at home. Os this trio, only Illinois looked particularly ragged, but the Illlni. who won the conference crown last year, could well down Wisconsin on the Champaign court. Ohio State, however, was likely to eliminate Wisconsin's problem* in the Michigan dash, next Monday night The Buckeye* whipped the Wolverines *4 to 58. at Columbus, and even on the Michigan court.
