MISSIONARY GROUP IN MEETING THURSDAY The Ladles Fellowship of the Missionary church held its February meeting Thursday at the home of Mrs. Mervln Roop, with son--teen members and tour guests, Mrs. Clarence Hook. Mrs. Myron Hart, Mrs Leonard Johnston and Mrs. Minnie Myers, in attendance. — The meeting opened with the group singing "When We All Get to Heaven." followed by prayer, offered by Mrs. Hook, and the devotions. the fourteenth rhspter of Johns, read by Mrs. Hart. The remainder of the meeting was spent ip sewing quilt blocks, embroidering and hemming towels. A group of songs was then enjoyed. ' Mrs. Roop was assisted by Mrs Harold Idlewlne. in serving delicious refreshments. ENTERTAIN KIRKLAND CLUB AT LUNCHEON The liecatur Home Economics club entertained the Kirkland home economics club and the county presidents at a luncheon Wednesday at the Decatur high school home economics room. Dennis Norman entertained with various songs and games, aft", which Mrs It. Rotarians Entertained By Ladies Last Evening

For two hours Inst evening, the Roturiatrs put aside whatever worries thsy may have harbored incident to the miner's strike, the flood and the March 15 tax dead-: line, and just sat back and laughed heartily at a Valentine day pro gram given by the Rotaryanns at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church. The club scheduled the program as "ladies night" and the women took over A chicken dinner was served by the women’of the church, with Mrs. Leo Kirsch in charge of tnedu and dining arrangements.Then came the big home-talent/ show There was singing, presentation of several skits, selections by The Sentimental Four of Fort Wayne, climaxed by the showing of baby 'pictures of the Rotarian* and a guessing contest on the, identity of the "blessed events" as! they were shown on the screen.
