Mias Rose Klien Miller, president, presided at the business emeetlng. opened with roll call answered with a favorite nursery rhyme. Mrs. Mai Moser, Miss Ara Kraft and Mrs. Charles Young were appointed to the nominating committee, and Mrs. John Holthome was elected extension officer. Following the adoption of the International rushing program, a "get-acquainted" party tor rushes has been planned tor February 22. and a preferential tea tor, Sunday. March I*. Formal installation ceremoniesfor pledges will be held March 10. After the business meeting, Mrs. Max Moser, program chairman, in , troduced the guest speaker, Mrs. R. D. Myers. Who gave an interesting discussion on the origin and history of poetry. During the social hour. Beta Sigma Phi songs were sung, acconb panled at the piano by Mrs Vernon Custar. Lovely refreshments were later served at small tables, sp- ~ propriately decorated in the. Valen tine theme by Mrs. John Holthouse.
