moved from Indianapolis. Funer al services were held Monday afternoon and burial was at Greenwood Memorial park In Phoenix Mrs. Andrews was born tn Warren. May 23, 1882. Mr. and Mrs. Andrews resided in Adams county and later moved to Indianapolis, where Mr. Andrews was a linotype operator on the Indianapolis News until al>out two years ago, when he retired. The Andrews then moved to Phoenix, where their two sons, Fielder and Clark, both linotype operators, reside. Mrs Andrews had attended a church meeting Friday afternoon and was appari eutly In good health. She became ill early Saturday morning and died a tew minutes after the arrival of a physician. Cause of the death was given as a heart ailment. Surviving besides the husband and two sons are several relatives in Adams county and also at War- ' ren Democrat Want Ads Bring Results

Handicraft Workshop Scheduled January 10 Tuesday. January 10, is the date set for the next county handicraft workshop This event, sponsored by the Adams county home economics association and the Adams county board of recreation, will be held in the basement of the First Christian church in Decatur. It will be an ail day affair, beginning at 9 a.m. and closing in the late afternoon. The two sponsoring organize tions extend a cordial invitation to any county resident, city or rural, who may be interested in handicrafts. Men and women, boys and girls, alike, are invited to take advantage of this opportunity. Groups which can find suitable crafts at this workshop are home economics clubs, 4 H clubs, Hoy and Girl Scouts, vacation Bible schools, etc. Crafts to be featured on the program are textile painting, metal modeling with copper and aluminum. leather work (making of gloves), candle making, and certain types of needle craft. The most experienced instructors of the county are to be invited to assist. To get to Heaven - turn right and keep straight.

Fire Experts Will Inspect Hospitals Over 150 In State Will Be Inspected More than 150 hospitals in Indiana will be inspected by trained fire and casualty engineers in a program which is to be started soon after Jan. 1. according to word received by fire chief Cedric Fisher from the Indiana rating bureau The Indiana inspections are a part of the nation wide survey of hospitals which is being sponsored by the national board of fire underwriters in cooperation with the American hospital association. American medical association, college of surgeons, association of casualty and surety companies, national fire protection association, national association of insurance agents. International association of fire chiefs, and the various rating bureaus of the nation. More than 1,700 engineers will inspect the «.«»<«» hospitals throughout the United Htat<«. The inspections in Indiana will be under the direction of the Indiana rating bureau. Cooperating will be the Indiana hospital association. Indiana medical association, Indiana state fire prevention association. Indiana fire underwriters association, western insurance bureau. Indiana association of Insurance agents, state fire marshal department and the Indiana fire chiefs association The hospital survey will include date on each hospital’s construction. holler and power plants, chimneys and Incinerators, electricity, exits, gas equipment, refrigeration. ventilating and air conditioning, kitchens, laundry, sewing rooms, repair shops, laboratories. pharmacy. X-ray equipment, operating rooms, the storage of compressed gases, flammable liquids, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers. fire alarms and evacuation plans, as well as public fire protection. "We welcome these engineers to our city.” said chief Fisher.
