Adams Central Is Defeated By Ossian, 4342 The Adam* Central Greyhound*, their last half rally falling short, suffered their fourth defeat of the season Saturday night, losing to the Ossian Bears. 43-42. at the Bluffton gytn. Ossian held a 23-16 lead at lhe end of the first half hut the Bears barely staved off a late drive by the Greyhound*. • Jim Arnold. Greyhound*' cent.-r. was the scoring leader of the game with 16 points, while Sample and Clark each tallied 12 for the Wells county quintet. The Butcher car. backing out of an alley between Second and Third street* onto Jefferson struck the Stonebrook car which damage was estimated at »40. The Chapman car. entering the alley next to the Moose lodge building, caught the bumper of the Zeser car. Damage to the Chapman car was 315 Deputy sheriff Robert Shraluka investigated an accident early Sunday involving car* driven by Mr*. Frieda Bailey, of Decatur, and Ernest Egley, of Ossian. Both car* were going east on 224 three mile* east of Decatur, when the Bailey car struck the Egley car a* it was making a left turn uff the highway. Damage to both car* was estimated at 3100. A car driven by Frank Flaherty went off Madison street into the Pennsylvania right of way off Seventh street and struck a trailer parked there. Damage to the Flaherty car was floo. D. C.
