W.B.C 8 HAS ANNUAL CHRISTMAS GUEBT DAY Fifty members and guests of the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist church met In the church parlors Thursday for the Christmas guest day. The lecture room of the church was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights, evergreen and a lighted Christmas tree. The president. Mrs. John Doan. , presided at the business meeting, after which Mrs. David Heller gave the inspiring devotional period, us ing “Christian Time" as her theme ; She was assisted by Mrs. Harold Gay l who read the scripture lesson, telling of tlie birth of the Christ . child. The devotional period was closed with prayer by a guest. Mrs. Itoan. Mrs. K. D Myers gave the lesson during which she told of "Our Mission Schools at Christinas Time." Musical selections were given by Jack Dally. "Away in a Manger” and a novel arrangement on tlie piano of "Santa Coming Down the Chimney." The long table was artistically arranged with holly wreaths and tall red tapers. I'nique star candles flanked the table on either end.
