Legion members will be successful in carrying their candidate through to election at the state convention next summer. o o Are you using Christmas Seals? o o Many are wondering if the Rushville weather prophet knows his weather. ——o o— — Further test of this country's atomic bombs will be made again at Eniwetok Atoll in the Pacific ocean, a good place for conducting such experiments. Fischer and his 14year old son of Shelbyville, so Indiana again rates tops in this Important agriculture pursuit. o o The Community Center fund continues to grow with receipt of pledges from clubs, business firms and individuals. It stands at approximately llio.tmo. the largest amount by several fold ever contributed here for a civic project. With that backlog, it should be evident that sentiment really favors the proposed building and that individuals, business firms and organizations can be generous in their giving A few large subscriptions would s»nd the total within sight of goal and when that is reached, the city will bent* fit from the *75,009 gift of Central Soya Company. Let's do this job before Christmas and give the community a real Christmas present. Fungus diseases, such as twig canker of oak. may lie dormant within a tree for as long as lit years When the tree becomes weak, the disease emerges.
