MEETING HELD THURSDAY The W FM S. of the Nazarene church met at the home of Mrs. Leo Roe Thursday night, with twenty members present. The meeting, conducted by Mrs. George Anspaugh, opened with the song "And Bring Them In." Mrs. William Huston gave the devotions, and Mrs Cora Rickord read the scripture Prayers were offered by Mrs. Ward and Mrs Mattox; after which Mrs. Elzey read an In teresting article and Mrs Brandy terry gave a poem. Following a reading by Mrs. Andrews, Mrs. Carter gave the lesson from the study book "Japan Now." The hostess served delicious refreshments at the close of the meeting. PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH GROUP MEETING HELD The Women's Home and Foreign Missionary society of the Presbyterian church met at the home of Mrs. C. C. Langston Thursday afternoon. Assisting hostesses were tlie Mesdames John Magley. ('. W. Knapp and 1.. C. Pettibone Mrs C. D Teeple. vice-president, opened the meeting in the absence of the president, Mrs W L. Harper Mrs Teeple closed her introductory remarks with tlie hymn "Open My Eyes" and the gift of Thanksgiving. Mrs. Bert A. Haley those as her devotions. Luke 17 11:9 and Corinthians 3-13.
