14 Men Arrested For Sex Parties High School Girls Involved In Cose Belvidere, 111., Oct 15. — (UP) — Fourteen men faced trial today for ! alleged wild sex parties in hotel ’ rooms and cars with at least 10 Belvidere high school girls. j Authorities refused to discuss the scandal but promised that the “full details’* would come out when the men come to trial on Oct. 21. More than 10 girls, ranging In j afte from 13 to 15. were picked up by detectives. A was learned, and gave them Information which resulted In the arrest of the men. Names of the girls were withheld. Disclosure of the case rocked this town of 15.000, located near the Ill-inois-Wisconsin border 65 miles from Chicago. Ten men were charged with ,'.tatutory rape, two of Indecent liberties with a minor and another with assault to commit rape. Police said one man was arrested at Detroit and a 15th was still being sought. Most of the men were under 20 years of age but one was 34. In open court Thursday night, five men pleaded guilty, three pleaded Innocent, one refused to enter a idea and four were free on bond pending arraignment.
