Many Bonus Forms Filed Incorrectly Over 75,000 Vets File Applications Over 75.000 veterans have made application for the Indiana bonus during the first 60 days the law* has been in effect, officials said, and of these, 40 percent have failed to fill the blanks out correctly. To date about 40.000 applications I have be-n processed, of the 75.0<m i received, and 15.000 of these ha t* been classified as irregular. The errors were- mainly of omisI sion where the veteran failed to i answer the question or give complete information. One of the most , frequent errors. It was noted, was j question number 10 which asks Ute date of entry on active duty. Matty ! veterans are listing their induction date instead of the first day of ac-' i tual active duty. I Accident Is Reported Here This Afternoon An accident, occurring in the ' 1000 block of Adains street, was reported to police at 1 p. tn today. A trailer broke loose from a car driven by George Trleker, 12'14 West Madison s'reet. and rammed Into a truck owned by Clarence Ziaer, which was parked along the curb. Police had not investigated the accident early this afternoon, and there was no damage estimate.

New York Man Held On Bigamy Charge Held After Hurling Fish At Policeman .New York. Sept. 14—(UP)—A i 38-ycar-old bartender found himself in jail on a bigamy charge today because he threw a can of tuna fish at a po'lceman. Earle Browne was arraigned In felony court yesterday and ordered held in 32,000 bail for a grand jury hearing on charges that he married Margaret Wallace tn 1946 without bothering to divorce Mrs. Elaine Butler Browne, whom he married In 1945. The two wives sat together at the hearing and exchanged handkerchiefs while they both cried.
