Rut Dr. George M Brother, head of the board's bureau of preventive medicine, warned against optimism beesuse of the light report. The heaviest week of the current outbreak was the one ending Aug 6. There were 101 confirmed cases of polio that week, compared with 84 in the week ending July 30 and 83 In the Aug. 13 week. For the week ending last Saturday, Aug. 20. there were 80 cases. The 50th death was that of Robert A. Foltz, 18. Evansville, who died in St. Mary's hospital at Evansville. It was the first death chargeable to Vanderburgh county, though two Illinois children have died tn hospitals there. Wabash county Saturday became the <sth Indiana county to report a polio case. The previous week there were 58 infected counties and in the week ending Aug 6, 54.
