‘Dettmet In a candlelight ceremony read Sunday, at seven p.m. in Bethlehem Lutheran church, near' Ossian. Miss Martha Dettmer. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dettmer. of Tocsin, became the bride of Arthur Thieme, non of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thieme. Decatur. The Rev. 11. Lelining read the nuptial vows berore an altar decorated with gladioli, greenery, and candelabra. The munlcale was presented by I'red Stoppenhagen. organist, and Miss Bernadine Werllng. vocalist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a wedding gown of Imported marquisette over satin. Styled with a high round neckline. It was trimmed with tiny handmade daisies cut from the marquisette and embroidered at the top of the long tight sleeves. The very full skirt, ending in a long train, had three rows of gathering, each trimmed with the daisies. She wore a satin braided headpiece which held her finger-tip veil of French illusion. Her cascade bouquet was of Margaret Beaton gladioli Her pearl necklace was a gift of the bridegroom. Mrs. Garth ileckley. sister of the bride, attended as matron of honor. She wore an orchid mar-quisette-over taffeta gown styled evening at the homo of Mrs. Joe Mcßride.

89 Attend Church Service Last Night A total of 89 people of Mexican origin attended the weekly services of the Assembly of God (Mexican) church held Sunday night in the basement of the First Christian church in Decatur. Those attending are residents of Adams and neighboring counties. The entire service was conducted la Spanish and an eight-piece orchestra furnished music. Plans are underway for the construction of a new church for that denomination In Decatur. The attendance Bunday was divided as follows: adults, 39; young people 20; ard children. 30.

Four Accidents Are Reported In County No One Injured In Weekend Accidents There were four accidents reported in the county over Hit- weekend, Involving one train and se-.n cars, with damages ranging from Slo to total destruction. Two cars were damaged as the I result of a collision at an Intersection at 5:15 p. m. Saturday, on a highway two miles north of Berne The drivers. Homer Winteregg, of Monroe, and Raymond Brooks, of route one. Berne, claimed they were unable to see one another because of the weeds and corn obstructing the view at the intersection.
