A three tier cake, topped with an arrangement of yellow roses and surrounded by lemon leaves and yellow roses featured the table decorations which also included I tall white tapers. Baskets of 1 daisies were used on the recep-1 tlon table, and large baskets of white gladiolus were placed on either side of the fire place. The bride also graduated from St Francis liospital school of nursing. Evanston. 111. Since graduation she has done* nursing in California, at the veterans hospital in Minneapolis and privateduty nursing in Milwaukee. The groom entered service In March, 1913. flying with the eighth air force in Europe. He was the rec ipient of three air medals with thn*e oak leaf clusters and the distinguished flying cross. He was discharged in October. 1915, and presently is employed at the General Electric Co. To Attend National Guard Training Camp Five Decatur Youths To Two-Weeks Camp Five Decatur boys who are members <>r the Indiana national guard will leave at midnight tonight for a 1-5 day training camp at Camp Atterbury. One boy, Pvt. Jack Harker of the medical corps, left with the advanced detail Tuesday night Pvt. Harker and the others in the detail will get the barracks' ready for the 5.000 other guardsmen from Indiana who will arrive at the camp at 6 o'clock Sunday morning. Others going to camp this year are, from Company M. Cpl. Dick Heller. Pvt. Melvin Mcßarnes, and Ret. Curl Beehler; from service company. Cpl. Stanley Mcßride A truck convoy will leave the national guard armory in Fort Wayne at midnight, traveling 30 miles an hour to Indianapolis and then to Camp Atterbury. Other units from northern Indiana will join the Fort Wayne units along th»* way. The first three days at camp will be spent In orientation and close order drill. Then four days will be spent on the firing ranges All m< n will fire their own special weapons, including the Ml rifle carbine, and pistol during the first two days. The remaining time on the range the boys from company M will fire their heavy weapons; the 3o calibre heavy and light ma chine guns, the M millmeter mor tar, the bazooka, and the 75 mill) meter recoilless rifle The new recoilless rifle, which gives the heavy weapons company the firing power of a battery of artillery, was developed during the last days of the war. This will be the first time that the Indiana units have fired it. The second week of training will The second week of training will be spent in the field this year. Night field problems will consume a great part of the program, with special training In creeping and crawling, squad maneuvers, and company problems. All units will return early August 14 to the- armory where the mem bers will unload the trucks and clean their weapons before they return to their homes. Many of the men In the Fort Wayne companies are from the surrounding counties. Bluffton also will send a company to camp this year Their unit, an antiaircraft company, was just formed this year. • Boy Is Uninjured When Hit By Auto David Reed. 7. son of Mr. anil Mrs Ralph W. Reed. 329 N. 9th street, was hit by an automobile Friday evening, but was not Injured. it was learned today. Dale Eugene Sapp. 21. of Decatur. was the driver of the car which struck the Reed boy. Sapp reported Ur the police that he had just stopped for Nutunan avenue on 9Ui street, and crossed the pedestrian aoM. when the young boy ran from between parked cars into his path. The accident took place at 5:55 o'clock Friday, and was investigated by the city police. There were two witnesses to the accident, neighbors of the Reed boy.
