Brown Swiss Show Is Held Saturday jgl Adartis County Agent Speaks At Exhibit The Brown Swiss canton show of northeastern Indiana was held Saturday at the Wells county state park. Rufus Werling served as general- chairman and Ed Gannon, head of the Purdue dairy extension department, was judge. Adams cohnty exhibitors were Wilbur Kirchhofer of Geneva, Elmer Isch, Frehch township, ahd Reinhard 1 Werlifig, Decatur. L. E. Archbold, Adams county ; agent, told the group about the Guernsey district, Jersey parish ; and Ayrshire district shows which will be held in connection with the Decsttur free street fair the week of July 25. Arbhbold also announced the Northeastern Indiana grassland field day that will be held June 10 at the Alien county farm eight miles north of Fort Wayne, and the Miller-Purdue farm experimental program that will be held June 17. Archbold stated that thOse grassland meetings could Well be considered as ‘'must” meeting for catr tie owners. He further stated that many Adams county farmers were using ,4—No. of 3-13-12 fertilizer with small grain seeding in order to promote grass seeding and that after harvest these new grass seedings were being given top dressing
