1 Parcel Post Service To Berlin Restored With the lifting of the Russian blockade of Berlin, Germany, surface parcel post service has been restored to the American, British, and French sectors of the city, it was announced by postmaster Leo Kirsch. Effective now, the surface parcel post rate (except for U. S. A. gift parcels) to the Soviet zone of Germany, including the entire city of Berlin, is reduced to 14 cents per pound, Mr. Kirsch said.
