1 County Swine Project Committee Organizes The Adams county swine project committee held its first annual reorgaization meeting in the county extension office last week. Ralph S. Myers was elected as chairman, Harry McDermott, vice-chairman; Martin Sprunger, secretary-treasur-er; directors, Albert Converset, Ralph Bluhm, Ralph Freels, Paul Burkhart Harry Beavers, Dale Liby, L. A. Holthouse, DeWayne Woods. 4-H pig club work.will again be their main effort. They decided the 4-H pigs would be brought into the 4-H show one day, shown the next and the sale held that evening. 4-H Dairy Calf Club Meets Tuesday Night 4-H dairy calf club members of 1948, prospective members for 1949 and parents of all are invited to attend a 4-H dairy calf club booster meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Mollenkopf & Kiting store in Decatur. The committee in charge has planned a worthwhile meeting, full of information and entertainment, and refreshments will be serv ed. Plans will also be made for training a 4-H dairy Judging team. This team or teams will be entered in the district judging contest in Noble county Saturday, April 30.
