They were offered an opportunity to hold the 4-H show at Shroyer lake and also to show in connection with the Decatur free street fair. It was decided to postpone a discussion until a later date. A committee, Dennis Norman, Mrs. E. W. Busche, Mrs. Hiram Whitwer, Mrs. C. W. R. Schwartz and Mrs. Russel Mitqlhell was instructed to look into the possibilities of placing the show in a more central location in the county. Progress reports were heard on 4-H club work, home economics club activities, the D.H.1.A., 5-acre corn club and farmers institutes Wm. Griffiths was selected to represent the Adams county artificial breeders association. He made report on the progress of their work. At the close of the meeting; August Selking was elected president; Edwin Reifsteck, vice-presi-dent; Mrs. Holman Egly, secretary; W. L. Gerke, treasurer and Menno Augsburger, director. Mrs. C. W. R. Schwartz was electedrto a two year term on the county 4-H club council. Aged Man Believed Suicide Victim North Vernon, Ind., Jan. 19 — (UP)—State police today reported the death of a man identified as Samuel Spencer, 85, Lovett, whose body was found shot once in the head.
