Leamon Huffman of Markle was arrested -by state trooper Meyers for disregarding a stop sign at the junc ion of state highways 118 and 303 and will appear in J. P. court Saturday. The car driven by Arvado Jane Schaefer of Decatur, route 4, was damaged Sunday when it collided with a car driven by Calude Tarr of Jonesboro in Bluffton, Sunday afternoon. Funeral services were held this morning at the Pilgrim church in Muncie -for Mrs. Blanch Garton, 63. former resident of Linn Grove. She had been ill three months. F. V. Mills has sold his attractive residence at 343 Mercer avenue to J. O. Tricker. well known farmer, living east of Decatur, who will move into the house. Mr. Mills will hold a sale of his household goods next Saturday and will continue to live here, taking a room witli a family on ji hns street.

Mr. and Mrs. Dean Plumley, route 5, are the parents of a baby girl, born at 3:59 p.m. Monday at the Adams county memorial hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 9% ounces. A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Orland Miller at 7:54 o’clock Monday evening at the local hospital. She has not been named. Raymond Mathew is the name of the baby boy, born to Air. and Mrs. Thomas William Adler at 3:21 a.m. today at the Adams county hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 8% ounces.
