Unemployment Low Among War Veterans Ninety-seven percent of World War II veterans in the civilian labor force are now employed, Dwight R. Arnold, county service officer, stated today, adding that latest census figures show unemployment among World War II veterans at the lowest level since the war’s end. The census figures account for about 14,400,000 World War II male \eterans of which 12,900,000 are employed, 388,000 unemployed and 1,100,000 outside the civilian labor force. The greatest number of veterans not working or actively seek ing employment at this time are taking advantage of the educational provisions of the G1 bill of rights.
