The fox was struck in the head with the fist shot and was | tracked down by Pete's rabbit, dog. In the meantime, the local hunter also got two rabbits. Conservation Club Plans 1949 Program Plans for 1949 were made at the meeting Thursday night of the Decatur conservation club, formerly the Adams county conservation club, at the city hall. Robert Hill, president, was in charge. Rudy Meyer, -president of the country conservation club, and John Hoffack- , I er, game warden, were the speak- ' ers at the meeting. Membership cards for 1949 were distributed and each member was asked to get at least three new members. Charles Zimmerman is treasure? of the organization and Virgil Andrews is vice-president. Mr. Hill named Charles Knapp and Grover Cottrell as members of the fish committee and Roy Chilcote and Joe Mcßride as members of the game committee.
