But it is outlined as a conference with a lot of emphasis on the rank and file. It was suggested that Republican governors would be there along with all or part of the national committee. chairmen would .be there, too. The na'ional committee however, would choose the conferees. To demands that Scott resign, it is understood that the chairman will reply that he was elected for four years and will not take a walk. If the anti-Scott faction on the national committee insists on new faces around the committee table, Scott -probably will tell them his is the newest face there. If they press the issue, Scott’s opponents will be invited to resign, too, and see whether their party organizations back home will reelect them to committee membership. GOOD FELLOWS (Cont. From Page One) this, that we can all be a little more generous this Christmas. I am not making this plea for myself, but for some of the many less fortunate children and their parents, who do not know what it is to open an ice box, and start preparing a lunch, children not knowing what it is not to be hungry, or even warm in this kind of weather. More than that, could you think of a bigger thPill for these poor children than to have them find a doll, a ball, train or a scooter included in their Christmas box for them? “Think it over and then think 1 again, don't you all agree witli me I
