Economist Positions Under Civil Service The United States civil service commission has announced examinations for probational appointment to economist positions in various federal agencies in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, with entrance salaries from $3,727 to $6,235 per year. Information and application forms may be obtained from Robert Frisinger in the post office. Lutheran Pastor To Former Parish Sunday The Rev. Edgar P. Schmidt, pastor of the Zion Lutheran church, West Monroe and Eleventh streets, will occupy the pulpit next Sunday morning in his former parish, St. Paul’s Lutheran church, Westville, at the observance of that congregation’s diamond jubilee. Rev. Schmidt was pastor of the Westville parish from 1934 to 1941. Rev. and Mrs. Schmidt and children will leave Decatur Saturday afternoon, returning on Monday.
