National Pro Loop Title Races Close By United Press With four teams still grabbing tor two titles, it looked today like the races in both divisions of the; National Football league might go down to the final day of the season before they are decided. As a result of games played Sunday. the defending champion Chicago Cardinals were still deadlock ed with the Chicago Bears for first place in the west, while the Philadelphia Eagles held the slimmest possible margin over the Washington Redskins. The Cards and the Bears -aeh have five games left and they would be favored to win the first four of them. That would bring them down to the final day of the year still tied when they meet each other. The Eagles and the 'Skins each have five to go. too. with a Nov. 21 meeting the possible payoff. The Cards took care of the Detroit Lions yesterday. 56 to 20, in routine fashion Elmer Angsman and Charley Trippi each ran to three touchdowns and pitchin' Paui Christman returned to the lineup to throw three touchdown passes.
