Spent three years in the South Pacific. Spent 35 days in coinhat again-t Japans' and land forces. Was awarded the Presidential Citation and the Bronze Star 1 other Campaign Medals. Returned to the Vnited States in October of 1915 and was honorably di^charg-<1 the service. ( j I was elected to the office of County Surveyor in 1916.
