Junior Police Club Plans Hike Saturday Decatur's junior police club will take an all day hike Saturday, leaving local police headquarters at 8 a m. They will pack their lunches and head in a northerly direction. The club decided to take the trek at last night’s meeting at city hall The club's firearms group has been given the use of two Stevens match rifles by the local American Legion post. The Decatur rifle club has given the Junior police the use of its facilities in the K. of P. building. Clarence Brunnegraff, of the rifle club, will teach in members of the club the regulation national rifle association course. A code class has begun, with (Oliver E. Harmon, who wan a code instructor in the army, teaching the boys the fundamentals of Morse signalling. The steory and practice of radio is being taught at the same time.

Sheriff Bowman Is Winner In Cakewalk Just about the entire population of Monroe turned out for the high school's Halloween festival Thursday night, but it was an outsider who took high honors In the cakewalk.
