The home, existed before te church and school, and every good home Is existed before the church and school V 21. "Thon Shalt say unto thy son. We were Pharach s bondmen in Egypt: and the Ix>rd brought !us out of Egypt with a mighty hand " A good parent will take time to tell the story of Gods deliverance, pointing out that be is all powerful and that all of us ar e his subjects whether loyal or disloyal. V. 22. “And the lx>rd showed signs and wonders, great and sore, 'upon Egytp*. upon Pharach. and [upon ail his household, before our I eyes,” Here Is teaching by the power of experience Progress is made by using the good experience of others. If we observe to do all these commandments, before our God. as he hath commanded.” If God’s commandment* are obeyed. God will approve of us as righteous. The New Testament ( teaches *« that no man ha* fully kept God** law and that he needs * righteousness which come* through faith in Christ. V. 9. "And When ye reap the r harvest of your Hmd. thou Shalt ‘ not wholly reap the corners of ( thy field, neither shait thou gather the gleaning* of Aie har vest." Here was a ptereiful pro vision for the poor. To allow the 1 poor to gather the gleanings ( would promote industry and seM ’ respect. As also indicated in verse 10, such acts of kindness would help others to recognize the Lord God Vll. ”Ye shall not steal neither deal falsely, neither tie one to another ” Here is the law of honesty. Honesty is not worthy the . name unless it hi absolute hon 1 e*ty. We are honest in nothing unless we are honest in everything Absolute honesty has no place for the slightest misrepresentation of truth. Absolute honesty will drive one to right relations with God and one’s fellowman. Vl2. "And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shait thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Ixtrd." Thi* one thing Is to be settled, namely, that there is one great God and his , name Is so sacred that ft must not bo taken in vain.
