H Willard read a sketch on "Mrs. Jennie Fowler Willing." one of the founders of the W. C. T. l‘„ and Mrs. Jess Niblick read the article “Visual hdu cation.” Miss G4lpen chose as her topic "Total Abstinence." The dosing prayer was given by Mrs. Hocker. TRI KAPPA ASSOCIATE CHAPTER IN MEETING The associate chapter of Tri Kap pa met at the home of Miss Mudge Hite last night for their anniversary dessert bridge The chapter was organized on October 16, 1946 Members were sea'ed at small tables which were centered with vases of lovely fall flowers. The business meeting followed the dessert, at which time the , chapter, as a member of the Riley ('beer quild. sent a contribution of forty dozen home-made cookies to the Riley hospital in Indianapolis, which will lie used as special treats on children's trays. This project was under the direction of Mrs luiwrence Linn. Bridge was then played and the prize was won by Miss Florence Haney. Mrs. Gerald Cole won a contest prize. Mr*. H. 11. Stoner, a charter member of the Decatur chapter, was a guest. The next meeting will be November 9. with Mrs. Gladys Chamberlin as hostess, assisted by Mrs Carl Gerber. Mrs. Roy Kalver will review a current play. Miss Hile was assisted by Mr*.
