Mr. Arnold outlined the fo'lowing rules which have the approval of the VA: 1. Write only when necessary The veteran has every right to write !<£■ the VA whenever he has a matter which can best be handled through the mails 2. Write the right VA office. If he writes, the veteran should write to the office nearest him or the office which he knows has his re cords on file But never the VA in Washington. D. C. 3. Identification vital. When the veteran writes the VA he should always in-hide his claim number it he ha>< one. If he writes abou' insurance, he should include his N or V number.
