First Practice Slated Today By New Coach The Decatur Commodores. under the guidance of their new roach. Pavid Terveer, former. Commodore star and graduate of St. Joseph’s college, were scheduled to hold their initial practice session of the season today Vnder rule* of the Indiana high school athletic association. no hunk ethal I practice la permitted by member schools until October 1. with the season to start November 1. In connection with the firm practice, the Commodores’ schedule for the ISMB-49 neanon was also announced today by the- Rev. Ignatius Vicburas. athletic director of the school. The team has Ik game* scheduled. nine at home and nine on the road The Commodores will play all home games at the Yellow Jacket* gymnasliim Two new team* have been added to the Hchedule this year. The Commodores will play at Hoagland Dec 15. and will entertain Bill Bryan's latncaster Bobcats here pec 30. Twenty-right aspirant* for the team have been invited to the initial practice by coach Terveer The Commodore* lost six members of last season’s sectional tournament squad by graduation They were Eugene Baker.
