Answdr: Sometime during the month of January, 1949, you will receive a notice that your registration Is about to b« cancelled. You can reinstate It by signing your name and returning the notice to the office of the county clerk, r Question: .May a veteran who waa registered on a service man's affidavit form continue to vote on such a registration?
Answer: No. The 1917 legislature enacted a law requiring exservicemen. like other citizens. to register on a regular form in order to be eligible to vote Question: .May an active serviceman stationed elsewhere vote? Answer: Yea. Provided tie is properly registered, by applying for an absent voter s ballot. Question Jnat who may vote by absent voter's ballot? Answer: Any properly registered voter who will be or expects to be absent from the county on November 2 tgeneral election day.) Question: Just how does one vote an absent voter's ballot? Answer: First of all the voter must fill ont and have executed an application for absent voter's ballot. Talk To Sons In Overseas Service Six Adams county mothers may hare the chance to talk to their sons in service overseas on Thanksgiving Radio station WANE. Fort Wayne, today contacted Mrs. Clark Flaugh. president of the local American Legion auxiliary, with news of the transoceanic talks. The station will rec ord messages of parents here, to be beamed to the various areas of occupation overseas. The servicemen, also, will be able to communicate with their parents at home by radio.
