Outbreaks Os Chinch Bugs Are Reported Outbreaks of chinch bugs have been reported to the county extension office from four townships, states county agent L. E. Archbold. These townships are Union. Washing. Blue Creek and Monroe. D. D. T., declares the county agent, will control chinch bugs. He suggests a duet mixture as follows: one pound of 50% D D. T. and four to five pounds of cheap flour The simplest way to apply the mixture is to place the powder In a burlap bag and then shake the hag while walking along, applying liberally on the ground and vegetation through which the chinch bugs must travel to reach corn fields.
