Kohne. of route 4. became the bride of John R. Eller, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Eller, of Glenmorp, O. The double ring ceremony took place at ten o'clock this morning , in the St. Mary's Catholic church, the Very Rev Msgr. J. J. Seimetz officiating. The men's choir sang the nuptial mass, accompanied by Sr. M. Am brosine, organist. Two lieautiful Iwiuquets of white gladiolus decorated the altar, and the large baskets of peonies, placed at the communion railing, adder! to the attractiveness of the sanctuary. Before the recessional, the couple recited the a< t of consecration before the altar of the Blessed Virgin. after which the bride laid a lovely bouquet of white and pastel frdwers at the feet of the Blessed Virgin During the recitation of the prayers, the choir sang "Ou This; Day O Beautiful Mother.” The altar of the Blessed Virgin was decorated with white stocks and blue delphinium. The hrlde. given in marriage by | her fat iter, was dressed In a gown of white marquisette, made with a' dropped shoulder neckline and a yoke of marquisette edged In a self-ruffle, giving a bertha effectfitted bodice. The dropped waistline was accented with solid ruffles, which extended from the waistline around the skirt and down the full train. A fingertip veil of illusion fell from a pearl studded bonnet of the same illusion. A single strand of pearls, a gift of ths- groom, was her only jewelry, and she carried an arrangement of French white carnations and tulle fluffs, centered with a white orchid. Mrs. James Konne attended the bride as mafron-of-honor. Her gown was of yellow marquisette, styled with a high neckline and a yoke of marquisette, edged In a ruffle extending over her shoulders to form the sleeves The full skirt, worn over taffeta, was edged with a large ruffle around the bottom and extended up the back to form a bustle. Their gowns were of aqua marquisette and were styled identical to that ot the matron-of-honor. Their tKiuquets were yellow carnations and aqua tulle fluffs. James Kohne served the groom us best man. Ushers were Paul Kohne and Victor Braun. For her daughter's wedding. Mrs. Kohne chose a navy print dress with matching accessories. The groom's mother wore a black print with matching accessories. Their corsages were of white Esterites. Immediately after the wedding ceremony, a breakfast was served to fifty guests at the Catholic Indies of Columbia hall. Assisting wi'h the serving were the Misses Bernice Kintz. Joan Voglewede. Mildred Geimer and Mary Ann Imurent. A reception is being held this afternoon from two to five o'clock at the home of the bride's parents for approximately two hundred guests. A four tier wedding cake, topped with a miniature bride and groom, centered the serving table. When the couple leave for their wedding trip, the bride will wear a summer print dress with matching accessories. The orchid from her bouquet will complete her outfit. I'uon their return. Mrs. Robert Garard. a patient at Lutheran hospital at Fort Wayne, where she was operated on Thursday morning, is improving and will probably be returned home in a week or 10 days. Decatur Woman Hurt In Auto Accident Mrs. Leah Bwygart, 1115 W. Madison street, was injured in an automobile accident near Portland late Friday afternoon, according to reports received here. Mrs. Swygart and her son were occupants , of the car. Details of the mishap have not been learned Mrs. Swygart was admitted to the Jay county hospital, hut was later released The automobile was said to have been badly damaged.
